ENTRY CONDITIONS
Feature Film
A horror, thriller or sci-fi feature film over 55 minutes in length.
Short Film
Any horror, thriller or sci-fi film under 30 minutes in length.
Rules for Film makers and Production company's
1. Dates and Venue
The Bram Stoker International Film Festival 2012 will take place on October 25th -28th 2012. The absolute final submission deadline is 20th August 2012. Spa Pavilion, Whitby, England
2. Bram Stoker Awards
The Festival reserves the right to place entries into alternative categories. Each submission must be entered separately. Entries will be assessed and successful submissions will be programmed for screening and entered in the Festival competition. Failure to submit a screener copy by September 10th 2012 will rule out eligibility for an award and or screening at the festival. The Award categories are posted on our web site, you may be interested in viewing previous winners.
3. Formats
For the selection process acceptable formats: DVD.
For successful submissions that are granted a screening: DVD, Blu-Ray and possibly digital format
4. Selection
The Festival is managed on behalf of Ironopolis Media Ltd.
The Festival directors and or their representatives reserve the right to invite films for the competition and programme. The screening schedule will be announced after the final submission deadline. The final award winning entries will be selected by a Festival jury and audience votes. Award winners will be notified within 21 days of the festival screenings, in their absence.
5. Entry Returns
We do not return entries.
6. Screenings
It is the responsibility of the entrant to ensure that films for screening are deposited with the Festival organisers at least 30 days before any scheduled screening.
7. Publicity
We reserve the right to use extracts from submissions for festival publicity, news, media, radio and marketing purposes. Press kits and posters will be required.
8. Legal
As an entrant you must have full permission of the producers, legal and copyright owners. The Bram Stoker International Film Festival shall not be responsible for any screenings or entries made without permission. The programme and schedule is final and at the discretion of the directors of the film festival.
9. FEES
Entry fees are priced at £25.00 up to the 1st of June 2012. Entries after this date will be charged at £30.00 until deadline close. Entries are made by clicking
